DGFT Digital Signature | (n)Exim Digital Signature | Safeexim Digital Signature

DGFT Digital signature is issued to the organization/people who have obtained a valid IEC ( Import Export Code) from DGFT. It is mandatory to have Digital Signature to be able to communicate with DGFT online. It is compulsory to use Digital Signature for applying DEPB, DFRC, EPCG, Advance License, FMS, VKUY from DGFT

What is DGFT Digital Signature?

DGFT Digital Signature is required to digitally sign any documents in electronic format or for transactions being performed through a web-browser.

DGFT Digital Signature is one of the many types of Digital Signature Certificates which is issued by three certifying authorities (CA) in India i.e. (n) Code Solutions, Safe Scrypt and emudhra.

 What is the use of DGFT Digital Signature Certificates?

With a DGFT Digital Signature or Safeexim or (n)Exim exporter can apply for licenses electronically with the DGFT in India and digitally sign online license application

What is (n) Exim, Safeexim?

(n)Exim is a class 3 Digital Signature Certificate . It is issued to Organizations/ People who have obtained a valid IEC Code.

safeexim is a class 2 Digital Signature Certificate issued by licensed certifying Authority safescrypt

Prerequisite to obtain (n)Exim / Safeexim DGFT Digital Signature :

- DGFT Digital Signature are opened to Only Importers – Exporters who have a valid IEC Code from DGFT

- Any individual from an Organization. who is authorized to transact with DGFT on behalf of his company.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED & TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT to obtain dgft dsc:

　1.　Application Form duly filled in.　

　　 ( Download DGFT | (n)Exim | Safeexim Digital Signature Application Form : (n)Code Solutions | SafeScrypt | e-Mudhra )

　2. Latest Photograph of Applicant ( Must be Pasted on Form with Cross Signature )

　3. Duly Attested Photocopy of anyone of the following ID Proof of Applicant :

　　　 – Passport　　　 – Driving License　　　 – PAN Card Copy　　　 – Govt. Issued ID Card

　4.　Duly Attested Photocopy of anyone of the following Address Proof of Applicant :

　　　 – Passport　　　 – Driving License

　　　 – Latest Utility Bill ( Telephone Bill / Mobile Bill / Electricity Bill / LIC Receipt / Water Bill ) – Not Older then three months

　5.　 Proof of Right to do Business :　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

　　　　 – Certificate of Incorporation 　　　　 OR -　 Memorandum and Articles of Association OR　 – Registered Partnership Deed　  OR　 – Valid Business License Document Like VAT / Service Tax　 Regn.

　6.　 Proof of Right to do Business :　

　　　　 – Annual Report　　 OR　　 – Income Tax Return　　 OR　　 – Organization’s Bank Account Details on Bank’s Letter Head by Bank Manager　 OR　　 – Statement of Income by Chartered Accountants

　7.　 Copy of PAN Card of Organization.

　8.　 Authorization Letter in favor of applicant on Company’s Letter Head.　

　9.　 IEC Certificate Photocopy
